In addition to the requirement to succeed for the artistic aptitude test, the general admission requirements for a Bachelor’s Degree programme equally apply: a) a Flemish degree of secondary education; b) a Flemish degree of short-course higher education; c) a Flemish degree of higher education for social advancement, with the exception of the certificate of pedagogic aptitude; d) a degree or certificate, awarded in the context of the Flemish HBO; e) a degree or certificate which, pursuant to a law, Decree or European guideline or another international agreement, is deemed equivalent to the certificates mentioned in the categories above.
In addition to this LUCA School of Arts may admit candidates who have obtained a degree or certificate in a country outside of the European Union, which is not deemed equivalent as mentioned in e) This is only possible on the condition that this document gives admission to a Bachelor's programme in the country where it has been awarded, comparable to a Flemish Bachelor's degree.
Students who have not acquired one of the above mentioned degrees or certificates can be allowed to register for a Dutch Bachelor's degree programme provided that they have reached the age of 21 before the 31st of December of the first year of enrolment and that they have passed a specific admission test. For students with an exceptional aptitude a deviating admission procedure can be considered.

2024-2025
