General: In the Atelier ‘Graphic Storytelling’ the student starts to study the complex aspects of the profession, the professional field and his different media in depth from concrete problems. Solving problems is one of the core activities for designers, illustrators and authors of cartoon stories.

To be able to do this, it is necessary to be able to explain these problems.

In that context, analysis, reflection and a thorough knowledge of the constantly changing world and the own field of work are very important to arrive at innovative and authentic solutions.

Illustrators and authors of cartoons use drawings, photos or other graphic elements that support text or create images that independently communicate as a fully-fledged and stand-alone visual language.
