Aims

At the end of this course, the student (also singer) has studied a 50-minute program of chamber music. The student has learned to understand and perform the specific repertoire.

Previous knowledge

The student successfully completed the course of chamber music during the first year (the first training phase) of his/her master in music (specialization instrument/voice).

The chamber music group is coached by the teacher during the contact moments. The group studies and rehearses independently in
preparation for these contact moments and for the exam, which is organized in concert form.

- The exam point is awarded by a jury of different chamber music teachers. The evaluation criteria concern, among other things, the
interaction between the musicians themselves in function of the ensemble playing, knowledge of the score and style, musicality and technique,
stage presence, ...

- Every student is obliged to participate in the exam of both the first and the second exam period.
If the student only participates in one of these exams, he/she will not pass in any case.

- In addition, the following conditions apply to participate in the exams:
The group must have followed at least 3 lessons with the same teacher.
Of these, at least two lessons must have been attended before the holiday (resp. the Christmas holidays and the Easter holidays)
preceding the exam.
