E - Master Studio Practice Media & Information Design (B-LUCA-K44290)
Aims
This E-Master Studio Practice consists out of tree components:
- An introduction to the Spatial Computing Lab
- Workshops which explore contemporary media-technologies
- The conceptualization, design and production of a public exhibition
Through these objectives, this course unit achieves the following course-specific learning outcomes: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Previous knowledge
Holder of an official diploma which grants access to the Master.
Assessment - Intake interview.

Content
An introduction to the Spatial Computing Lab
An introduction to the hard- and software tools aimed for the creation and development of various multi-media applications: Touchdesigner, video- and audio-technology, Pointcloud, Madmapper, etc. This component will be conducted by Klaas Verpoest.
Workshops which explore contemporary media-technologies
workshops in which we navigate the ever-evolving landscape of digital innovation, exploring cutting-edge tools and techniques that shape the way we communicate, express, and engage with the digitized world around us
Conceptualization, design and production of a public exhibition
An exhibition will showcase the intervening theoretical and practical research of the Master's students for their individual Master's projects in a joint public exhibition at the Terrarium.

as well as about the presentation of your own individual work at this exhibition.
in May and June:
4. the conceptualization, design and production of the graduation show, as well as about the presentation of your own individual work at this show.
5. the final outcome of your master project
