Evaluation
(B-LUCA-L83385)
Explanation
Assessment | Grading scale |
---|---|
TOTAL | Pass / Fail |
The evaluation follows the pass/fail principal, no score will be given.
The evaluation criteria for passing this course are the following:
- Presence (1 illegitimate absence or absence which is announced too late automatically results in a fail for this course)
- Preparation of and collaboration during the rehearsals/concerts
Absence from rehearsals or concert:
In case of a planned, legitimate absence in an ensemble rehearsal and/or concert, the Production Bureau must always be informed in advance.
A legitimate absence is only possible according in the case of the following options. If you qualify, please report this and follow the appropriate procedure:
1) You have an official status as a working student . However, you can only be absent according to a schedule agreed by the Production Office and the Study career consultant.
2) Illness: report to the Production Office and upload your doctor's attestation via Proform to justify your absence.
3) You have a Top Arts status or a unique top-level cultural opportunity. This must always be discussed with and approved by the coordinator in advance.
4) Curriculum obligations in another graduation subject: only after approval by the departmental coordinator and if timely notified to the Production office.
Given that OPO ensemble is evaluated on the basis of attendance, illegitimate absence inevitably leads to a fail for the course.
Information about retaking exams
A second examination opportunity (in the third examination period) is only permitted after full participation in the evaluation activities in the first and/or second examination period. This means that the second examination opportunity will only be possible after regular participation in the ensemble. The second exam opportunity is therefore not offered as a postponed exam, except on specific recommendation from the exam ombudsperson.
If a second examination opportunity is offered with different examination modalities, this will be communicated to the student in writing.
