- The student has knowledge of the work of various interior/architects and artists/designers, where the work forms an interplay between interior/architecture and art. (knowledge)
- The student can collect, select and process targeted information about the interfaces between art and interior/architecture. (skill)
- The student explores relationships and exchanges between interior design/architecture and other art forms to gain a better understanding of interdisciplinary aspects and movements. (skill, attitude)
- The student integrates the experiences and insights gained into the creation process, and conceptualizes and realizes a 'WALLWORK with title' that poetically expresses an interface between interior/architecture and art. (skill, attitude)
- The student reflects critically and acts with integrity with regard to the medium used and the role of 'author/maker/designer'. (attitude)
Through these objectives, this course achieves the following course-specific learning outcomes:
- Have the necessary knowledge, skills and insights regarding material, form, action, concepts, function and contents of the chosen medium.- Kennis en inzicht hebben en blijven ontwikkelen in de maatschappelijke, culturele, artistieke, historische en internationale context van de beeldende kunsten/architectuur en de artistieke praxis.
- Develop and sharpen a critical and investigative attitude towards designs and/or realizations that arise from visual experiments and research, emotion and intuition.
- Capture the characteristic of personal designs and/or realizations and communicate them in an appropriate manner to a critical audience.
Previous knowledge
Simultaneity: to start this course, the student must have previously taken or taken all courses of the third course phase Bachelor of Visual Arts previously or simultaneously.
